Ortanique tangerine

This hybrid of mandarin and orange tree was discovered in Jamaica in 1920 and introduced in Morocco in the late 1940s.

Very vigorous, large tree of spherical shape produces very large calibers that are difficult to peel and have no seeds. In suitable agronomic conditions, the flesh is very juicy with a distinctive rich flavor.

The fruit of a yellow-orange color.

Available from February to May.
